Is a Cocker Spaniel a good fit for a Ghaziabad home?
Medium dogs work in Ghaziabad homes with access to a park or open space. Check your society's rules and the Municipal Corporation's licence conditions first.
A Cocker Spaniel can live in a flat if it gets daily exercise, company and regular grooming. Check your society's rules on dogs and lifts in Ghaziabad before you decide.
Cocker Spaniel and Ghaziabad's weather
Ghaziabad has hot summers, humid monsoons and cold, foggy winters, and air quality is often poor in late autumn and winter. Keep exercise to the cool hours, and use indoor play on bad air days.
A Cocker's coat and long ears mean humid monsoon weather brings skin and ear problems. In summer, many owners keep the coat trimmed short, with a cool room and walks in the cool hours.
The Cocker Spaniel copes better with heat than heavily coated breeds, but still needs shade, water, a cool room at the hottest hours and walks in the cool hours.

Registration and society rules in Ghaziabad
In Ghaziabad, the Municipal Corporation requires pet dogs to be licensed and has issued rules on owners' responsibilities. In October 2022 it also announced a ban on keeping some powerful breeds, including the Rottweiler and Dogo Argentino. Rules can be revised, so check the corporation's current position and your society's pet policy before you choose a breed.
Cocker Spaniel puppy price in Ghaziabad
The price of a Cocker Spaniel puppy depends on the puppy's age, lineage and records, coat colour, health checks and current availability, and it can change from one litter to the next. We do not quote a price without knowing what is available, so message us your area in Ghaziabad and we will tell you what we have, what is included and what records exist. You can meet the puppy by appointment before you decide.
Is a Cocker Spaniel right for you?
A Cocker Spaniel may suit you if you want a gentle, merry medium-sized dog, can groom regularly and can give daily exercise and company.
You may want a different breed if you cannot manage regular grooming and ear care, want a guard dog, or are away for long hours.
