Are some dog breeds restricted in India?
Rules for certain large breeds can differ by city, housing society and over time. Check your society and municipal rules before you choose, and ask us if you are unsure. We will tell you what we know.
Which dog breeds cope best with Delhi's heat?
Short-coated, lighter dogs generally find summer easier than heavily coated or flat-faced breeds. Any breed needs shade, water and a cool room, and heavily coated or flat-faced breeds need extra care. Tell us about your home and we will suggest honestly.
Can I keep a dog in a flat?
Many dogs live happily in flats if they get daily exercise, company and a cool place to rest. Size is not the only factor: energy and noise matter too. Check your housing society's rules before you choose.
What vaccines does a puppy need?
Your vet sets the vaccination and deworming schedule. Puppies usually start at around six to eight weeks, with boosters a few weeks apart. We will tell you which vaccines have been given and when the next are due.
How do I know a puppy is healthy?
A healthy puppy is bright, alert, curious and eating well, with clean eyes, ears and coat. Book a vet check soon after your puppy comes home, and ask us about any health records that exist.
