Is a Samoyed a good fit for a Ghaziabad home?
Large dogs need space and a cool home. In Ghaziabad, check your society's lift and pet rules and the current civic rules for your breed before deciding.
A Samoyed can live in a flat only if it is air-conditioned in summer and the dog gets plenty of daily exercise and company. Check your society's rules on dogs and lifts in Ghaziabad before you decide.
Samoyed and Ghaziabad's weather
Ghaziabad has hot summers, humid monsoons and cold, foggy winters, and air quality is often poor in late autumn and winter. Keep exercise to the cool hours, and use indoor play on bad air days.
The Samoyed is among the most heat-sensitive breeds you can choose in Delhi NCR. If you cannot keep a room properly cool through the long summer, this is not the right breed for you.
The Samoyed's thick coat is the main concern: an AC or cooler in summer, walks only in the cool hours, plenty of water and never shaving the coat.

Registration and society rules in Ghaziabad
In Ghaziabad, the Municipal Corporation requires pet dogs to be licensed and has issued rules on owners' responsibilities. In October 2022 it also announced a ban on keeping some powerful breeds, including the Rottweiler and Dogo Argentino. Rules can be revised, so check the corporation's current position and your society's pet policy before you choose a breed.
Samoyed puppy price in Ghaziabad
The price of a Samoyed puppy depends on the puppy's age, lineage and records, coat quality, health checks and current availability, and it can change from one litter to the next. We do not quote a price without knowing what is available, so message us your area in Ghaziabad and we will tell you what we have, what is included and what records exist. You can meet the puppy by appointment before you decide.
Is a Samoyed right for you?
A Samoyed may suit you if you love a fluffy, sociable dog, can keep a room cool through summer, will brush often and can give daily exercise and company.
You may want a different breed if you cannot air-condition or cool a room in summer, want a low-shedding dog, or are away from home most of the day.
