Is a Poodle a good fit for a Gurgaon home?
Small dogs suit Gurgaon's gated societies well. Most apartments have lifts, community gardens and walking areas, and a small dog is easy to manage in all of them.
Toy and Miniature Poodles are well suited to flats, as long as they get daily walks, play and company. Check your society's rules on dogs and lifts in Gurgaon before you decide.
Poodle and Gurgaon's weather
Gurgaon shares Delhi's very hot summers and cold winter mornings, and dust and construction can make air quality poor at times. Many apartments here have AC, which helps heat-sensitive dogs, but plan walks for the early morning or late evening.
Poodles cope with Delhi's weather reasonably well, especially with a short summer clip. Keep them cool, give them plenty of water and walk them in the cool hours.
The Poodle copes better with heat than heavily coated breeds, but still needs shade, water, a cool room at the hottest hours and walks in the cool hours.

Registration and society rules in Gurgaon

Poodle puppy price in Gurgaon
The price of a Poodle puppy depends on the Poodle's size (Toy, Miniature or Standard), age, lineage and records, colour, health checks and current availability, and it can change from one litter to the next. We do not quote a price without knowing what is available, so message us your area in Gurgaon and we will tell you what we have, what is included and what records exist. You can meet the puppy by appointment before you decide.
Is a Poodle right for you?
A Poodle may suit you if you want a clever, low-shedding dog, can budget for regular grooming and can give daily play and company.
You may want a different breed if you want a low-maintenance coat, are away from home for long hours, or cannot afford regular grooming.
