Is a Maltese a good fit for a Gurgaon home?
Gurgaon's high-rise societies are a natural fit for toy dogs: they need little space, are easy to take in the lift and enjoy the air-conditioned homes many apartments here have.
A Maltese is an excellent flat dog, because it needs very little space and exercise, but it needs company. Check your society's rules on dogs and lifts in Gurgaon before you decide.
Maltese and Gurgaon's weather
Gurgaon shares Delhi's very hot summers and cold winter mornings, and dust and construction can make air quality poor at times. Many apartments here have AC, which helps heat-sensitive dogs, but plan walks for the early morning or late evening.
A Maltese copes with Delhi if kept cool indoors, clipped short in summer and walked in the cool hours. Keep the white coat clean in the monsoon, since mud and damp easily cause staining and skin trouble. Give it a warm bed in winter.
A small Maltese heats up and cools down quickly, so plan a cool room and water in summer, and a warm bed and light sweater on cold winter mornings.

Maltese puppy price in Gurgaon
The price of a Maltese puppy depends on the puppy's size, age, lineage and records, coat quality, health checks and current availability, and it can change from one litter to the next. We do not quote a price without knowing what is available, so message us your area in Gurgaon and we will tell you what we have, what is included and what records exist. You can meet the puppy by appointment before you decide.
Is a Maltese right for you?
A Maltese may suit you if you want a small, gentle lap dog, can brush daily or pay for grooming and can be at home often.
You may want a different breed if you are away for long hours, have very young children, or cannot manage a long white coat.
