Is a Shih Tzu a good fit for a Noida home?
Small dogs fit well in Noida's societies and sector apartments. Parks and wide roads in many sectors make short daily walks pleasant, outside the hottest hours.
A Shih Tzu is one of the best breeds for a flat, because it needs little space and moderate exercise, but it must be kept cool in summer. Check your society's rules on dogs and lifts in Noida before you decide.
Shih Tzu and Noida's weather
Noida has long, hot summers, humid monsoons and cold winter mornings, and air quality can be poor in winter. Wide roads and parks make cool-hour walks easy, but pavements and roads get very hot at midday.
The Shih Tzu's short, flat face means it overheats more easily than a long-nosed dog, so Delhi summers need care. Many owners keep the coat in a short "puppy clip" in summer for comfort and easier grooming.
Because the Shih Tzu has a short, flat face, heat is a serious risk: an AC or strong cooler in summer, short walks in the cool hours and a harness instead of a collar.

Registration and society rules in Noida
In Noida, the Noida Authority has run pet registration drives and expects owners to register their dogs, usually with vaccination certificates and photographs, and to renew the registration regularly. The process, rules and fees can change, so check the Authority's current requirements and your society's pet policy before the puppy comes home.
Shih Tzu puppy price in Noida
The price of a Shih Tzu puppy depends on the puppy's age, lineage and records, coat colour, health checks and current availability, and it can change from one litter to the next. We do not quote a price without knowing what is available, so message us your area in Noida and we will tell you what we have, what is included and what records exist. You can meet the puppy by appointment before you decide.
Is a Shih Tzu right for you?
A Shih Tzu may suit you if you want an affectionate lap dog, can brush daily or pay for regular grooming, and can keep a short-faced dog cool in summer.
You may want a different breed if you want a low-maintenance coat, an athletic running partner, or a dog that can handle heat without an AC or cooler.
