Is a Belgian Malinois a good fit for a Gurgaon home?
Many Gurgaon societies allow large dogs but have rules for lifts, common areas and walking times. Check yours first, and make sure the home can be kept cool in summer.
A Malinois is a poor choice for most flats, because it needs a great deal of space, work and exercise every day. Check your society's rules on dogs and lifts in Gurgaon before you decide.
Belgian Malinois and Gurgaon's weather
Gurgaon shares Delhi's very hot summers and cold winter mornings, and dust and construction can make air quality poor at times. Many apartments here have AC, which helps heat-sensitive dogs, but plan walks for the early morning or late evening.
A Malinois's short coat copes with Delhi better than heavy coats, but its extreme energy needs careful timing: train and exercise in the early morning or late evening and keep it cool indoors in the afternoon.
The Belgian Malinois copes better with heat than heavily coated breeds, but still needs shade, water, a cool room at the hottest hours and walks in the cool hours.

Registration and society rules in Gurgaon
In Gurgaon, the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram requires pet dogs to be registered, and a vaccination certificate is usually needed. Rules, forms and fees can change, so check the current process with the corporation, and check your society's pet policy on lifts, common areas and walking times.
Rules about powerful or large guardian breeds can differ by city, municipality and housing society, and can change over time. Some societies restrict certain breeds in lifts or common areas, and some areas may ask for registration or a muzzle in public. Check the current rules for your area and your society before you choose, and ask us if you are unsure. A Belgian Malinois is a decision for a committed owner who can train and safely control a strong dog.
Belgian Malinois puppy price in Gurgaon
The price of a Belgian Malinois puppy depends on the puppy's age, lineage and records, health checks and current availability, and it can change from one litter to the next. We do not quote a price without knowing what is available, so message us your area in Gurgaon and we will tell you what we have, what is included and what records exist. You can meet the puppy by appointment before you decide.
Is a Belgian Malinois right for you?
A Belgian Malinois may suit you if you are experienced, very active, can give hours of exercise and training a day and want a working partner.
You may want a different breed if you are a first-time owner, live in a small flat, have limited time, or want a relaxed family pet.
