Is a Border Collie a good fit for a Gurgaon home?
Medium dogs can thrive in Gurgaon societies with gardens and walking tracks. Check your society's pet policy and lift rules, and plan daily walks in the cool hours.
A Border Collie is a poor match for most flats, because it needs a lot of space, exercise and mental work every day. Check your society's rules on dogs and lifts in Gurgaon before you decide.
Border Collie and Gurgaon's weather
Gurgaon shares Delhi's very hot summers and cold winter mornings, and dust and construction can make air quality poor at times. Many apartments here have AC, which helps heat-sensitive dogs, but plan walks for the early morning or late evening.
A Border Collie's double coat and high energy need careful timing in Delhi's heat: exercise only in the early morning or late evening, and give plenty of water and a cool room.
The Border Collie's thick coat is the main concern: an AC or cooler in summer, walks only in the cool hours, plenty of water and never shaving the coat.

Border Collie puppy price in Gurgaon
The price of a Border Collie puppy depends on the puppy's age, lineage and records, coat colour, health checks and current availability, and it can change from one litter to the next. We do not quote a price without knowing what is available, so message us your area in Gurgaon and we will tell you what we have, what is included and what records exist. You can meet the puppy by appointment before you decide.
Is a Border Collie right for you?
A Border Collie may suit you if you are very active, can give two hours of exercise and training a day, and want a dog to work and play with.
You may want a different breed if you live in a small flat, work long hours, or want a calm, easy companion.
