Is a Pomeranian a good fit for a Gurgaon home?
Gurgaon's high-rise societies are a natural fit for toy dogs: they need little space, are easy to take in the lift and enjoy the air-conditioned homes many apartments here have.
A Pomeranian is a good flat dog because it needs little space, but regular training is needed to control barking. Check your society's rules on dogs and lifts in Gurgaon before you decide.
Pomeranian and Gurgaon's weather
Gurgaon shares Delhi's very hot summers and cold winter mornings, and dust and construction can make air quality poor at times. Many apartments here have AC, which helps heat-sensitive dogs, but plan walks for the early morning or late evening.
A Pomeranian's thick double coat and tiny body mean summer needs care. Keep it in a cool room, offer water, avoid midday walks, and never shave the coat, which can damage its natural insulation and may not grow back normally. Cold winter mornings are no problem for the coat, but older dogs may still enjoy a warm bed.
A small Pomeranian heats up and cools down quickly, so plan a cool room and water in summer, and a warm bed and light sweater on cold winter mornings.

Pomeranian puppy price in Gurgaon
The price of a Pomeranian puppy depends on the puppy's size, age, coat colour, lineage and records, health checks and current availability, and it can change from one litter to the next. We do not quote a price without knowing what is available, so message us your area in Gurgaon and we will tell you what we have, what is included and what records exist. You can meet the puppy by appointment before you decide.
Is a Pomeranian right for you?
A Pomeranian may suit you if you want a small, lively companion, can brush regularly, can train against barking and can handle a dog with a delicate frame.
You may want a different breed if you have very young children, want a quiet dog, or cannot keep a thick-coated dog cool in summer.
