Is a Chihuahua a good fit for a Gurgaon home?
Gurgaon's high-rise societies are a natural fit for toy dogs: they need little space, are easy to take in the lift and enjoy the air-conditioned homes many apartments here have.
A Chihuahua is ideal for a flat because it needs very little space, but barking and fragility need attention. Check your society's rules on dogs and lifts in Gurgaon before you decide.
Chihuahua and Gurgaon's weather
Gurgaon shares Delhi's very hot summers and cold winter mornings, and dust and construction can make air quality poor at times. Many apartments here have AC, which helps heat-sensitive dogs, but plan walks for the early morning or late evening.
Chihuahuas feel both extremes: they overheat in Delhi's summer and shiver in winter. Keep a cool room and fresh water in summer, and give a warm bed and a sweater in winter. Early puppies also need regular small meals.
A small Chihuahua heats up and cools down quickly, so plan a cool room and water in summer, and a warm bed and light sweater on cold winter mornings.

Registration and society rules in Gurgaon

Chihuahua puppy price in Gurgaon
The price of a Chihuahua puppy depends on the puppy's size, coat type, colour, lineage and records, health checks and current availability, and not just how small it is, and it can change from one litter to the next. We do not quote a price without knowing what is available, so message us your area in Gurgaon and we will tell you what we have, what is included and what records exist. You can meet the puppy by appointment before you decide.
Is a Chihuahua right for you?
A Chihuahua may suit you if you want a small, loyal companion, will handle it gently, and can train and socialise it patiently.
You may want a different breed if you have very young children, want a calm dog that welcomes strangers, or cannot keep a tiny dog warm and cool at the right times.
