Is a Lhasa Apso a good fit for a Gurgaon home?
Small dogs suit Gurgaon's gated societies well. Most apartments have lifts, community gardens and walking areas, and a small dog is easy to manage in all of them.
A Lhasa Apso suits a flat well because it needs only moderate exercise, but its barking at visitors needs training. Check your society's rules on dogs and lifts in Gurgaon before you decide.
Lhasa Apso and Gurgaon's weather
Gurgaon shares Delhi's very hot summers and cold winter mornings, and dust and construction can make air quality poor at times. Many apartments here have AC, which helps heat-sensitive dogs, but plan walks for the early morning or late evening.
A Lhasa Apso's long coat is made for cold mountain weather, so in Delhi's summer many owners keep it in a short "puppy clip" and the dog in a cool room. Walk in the cool hours and keep water available.
The Lhasa Apso copes better with heat than heavily coated breeds, but still needs shade, water, a cool room at the hottest hours and walks in the cool hours.

Lhasa Apso puppy price in Gurgaon
The price of a Lhasa Apso puppy depends on the puppy's age, lineage and records, coat colour, health checks and current availability, and it can change from one litter to the next. We do not quote a price without knowing what is available, so message us your area in Gurgaon and we will tell you what we have, what is included and what records exist. You can meet the puppy by appointment before you decide.
Is a Lhasa Apso right for you?
A Lhasa Apso may suit you if you want a loyal, alert small dog, can brush daily or pay for grooming, and can train patiently.
You may want a different breed if you want a dog that greets every stranger, have very young children, or cannot manage a long coat.
